Leonardo da Vinci's to-do list

Leonardo da Vinci's to-do list: "Another giant, Michel Montaigne, the inventor of the essay, wrote that no single idea could hold him. "I cannot keep my subject still," he wrote. "It goes along, befuddled and staggering, with a natural drunkenness."

Feed Flipper: Free iTunes Podcast to RSS Converter

I cannot receive "the economist" podcast since November. It looks like they reorganized audio and video feed into one, and it is at the culprit. iTunes audio only feed seems to be working and I give the RSS conversion service a try.

How-To: Homemade Memristor

How-To: Homemade Memristor:

Fascinating video from Nyle Steiner, who reports on his experiments with simple homemade memristors made from what are, probably, Al-CuxSy-Cu and Al-PbS-Pb junctions. He describes the observations that led him to experiment with these systems and the results of his experiments, and then wraps up by drawing out a simple memristor demonstration circuit and showing its operation on-camera. [Thanks, Laine Walker-Avina!]
